* Designates "Non-program" participant.

This year we . . .
. . . Hosted 31 participants, including students from Bhutan, Brazil, Germany, Guyana, Poland, and Russia.
  . . . Established a partnership with the National Science Foundation Alliances for Minority Participation.
    . . . Expanded outreach by hosting exhibit booths, presenting posters, and serving on discussion panels at national meetings across the country.
      . . . Distributed more than 7,300 advertisement posters to recruit student participants for the 1999 program.
        . . . Added the RTP poster session, held in the DIrector's Hallway for members from the NMNH commnity to review summaries of student research projects.
          . . . Consumed more pounds of m&m's (the "official" candy of the RTP) than anyone cares to admit.
            . . . Enjoyed an awful lot of FUN!
