Cuticle Studies from Angiosperm Fossils / Paleobotanical Studies in Wyoming

This project involved preparing cuticles from silaceous angiosperm fossils for microscope analysis. This project was suggested because the identification of dispersed cuticles may be an improved way of identifying plants exant in the northern temperate forests of Wyoming. After mounting, the cuticles were examined and compared to identified cuticles from macrofossils.

This research was supported by a grant from the Educational Outreach Fund.
