Cameroon Commelinaceae Projects

Dried and pressed specimens were mailed to Bob Faden from Peace Corps Volunteers in Cameroon and put through the process of becoming completed, inventoried herbarium specimens. They were put into the freezer as they came in in order to remove insects, mold, etc. The specimens were sorted, keeping some for this herbarium and sending others to different herbaria around the world. Using the field notes with the specimens, labels were made that eventually went onto sheets with mounted specimens. The sheets were then inventoried, bar coded, and filed into the herbarium with the other Commelinaceae. Other PCV specimens were also completed.
