Cactaceae paintings and photographs.
Horticultural Displays/Intern video

This project involved the production of a data file on a collection of cactus watercolors. The data was obtained from the information contained on the back of the watercolors. Upon completion of the inventory, design and construction began on a display to be placed in the cases outside the elevators on the fourth floor. The display provides a history of David Griffiths, who conducted a study of the cactus genus Opontia, and Louis Charles Christopher Krieger, who produced watercolors based on photos taken by Griffiths. The display illustrates the process by which the watercolors were produced from the photos and, finally, the outstanding work that resulted.
