Ornamental Flora of the Guianas

This project involved work with three different people: Bob Defillips, Jana Villa-lobos, and Shirley Maina. With Bob a publication of Flora of the French Guianas was produced. A familiarization with the Orchid family was gained through bibliographical work and through work with Shirley on North American endangered-threatened species. Finally, Jane assisted with threatened-endangered species of South America. Each scientist provided information on the current state of plant conservation. All three of the sub-projects will eventually evolve into published works.
