Bamboo Bar Coding / Computer

This project involved learning about how computers were used at the Smithsonian herbarium in order to plan for the installation of computer facilities at the University of New Mexico Herbarium. Bar coding, data capture, and loan processing were learned. Projects on Compositae were also involved: curation of Otopappus, pulling Rudbeckia loan, and assisting Dr. Funk with Wernaria sorting library research on the Genus Gircium.
