Process Calendar - 2007
Although
the quest to secure resources to support
each session begins several years prior,
the annual preparation cycle for the summer
session of the Research Training Program
remains relatively constant requiring approximately
one and a half years of preparation.
Each
year the application deadline is February,
1st and the notification of status date
is March, 8th. The undergraduate summer
program begins Memorial Day weekend and
concludes ten weeks later.
Here
is an example timetable for the 2007 undergraduate
summer session.

the same basic format of lectures, discussions,
field trips, workshops and demonstrations, social
events, and tours has remained consistent throughout
the history of the RTP, a variety of different
activities have been offered and each year remains
