at Natural History To date, in 2004 a total of 309 academic appointments have been recorded at Natural History, including 104 Fellowships and 205 Internships with 36 interns currently in-residence, 3 anticipated to start their appointment soon, 162 who have already completed their internship, 4 whose internship was terminated during the appointment and 1 who declined. The following is a list of students selected for internship positions at Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History. This list includes the student's name, the affiliated institution during their internship, the title of the internship project, the name of the supervisor/sponsoring NMNH staff, the assigned NMNH unit/office in which the internship was conducted, and the dates of the appointment.
