Mentor Dr. John Brown and AMP Scholar George Varas (Stony Brook AMP).

George Varas is a Sophomore State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook majoring in Chemistry.  He worked in the Department of Entomology with Lepidoptera Specialist Dr. John Brown.  George's research focused on learning the responsibilities of a USDA Entomologist, including how to identify insect specimens, prepare specimens for the collections, and reporting findings.
