at the Smithsonian

The First Annual LSAMP Scholars Winter Workshop was held 2 - 17 January 1999 at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History.  Twelve Freshman/Sophomore LSAMP scholars were selected to participate in the two-week exploration through the natural history sciences.

The LSAMP Winter Workshop is a convergence of diverse minds and backgrounds. Under the tutelage of their mentor, AMP scholars explored the wide ranges of natural history.
