Museum of Natural History Research Training
Program partnered with the National Science
Foundation Alliances for Minority Participation
program to share our expertise, and excitement,
of natural history with students participating
in the AMP program.

As
part of outreach initiatives of the Research
Training Program, the NMNH hosted an interactive
booth at the annual Minorities in Science
and Technology (MIST) career fair held
at George Washington University, Marvin
Center.
NMNH
professional staff, and their repertoire
of curious specimens, fielded questions
and shared insights into natural history
science with junior high and high school
students from the DC metropolitan area.
