The Global Volcanism Program has launched a new website as of August 1, 2002! Information is now available for more than 1,500 Holocene volcanoes and more than 8,500 eruptions. This site features both weekly and monthly reports concerning current activity, with over 6,300 historical reports since 1968 for more than 400 volcanoes.
