Run under the auspices of the Ornithological Council, OCNET-L provides legislative updates, action alerts, and other legal and environmental information for North America.

OCNET-L archives can be retrieved through the OCNET-L listserver, at:

  listserv@listserv.umd.edu

To subscribe to OCNET-L, send the following message to the listserver:

subscribe OCNET-L "your name"

  inserting your name, without the quotes.
  Leave the Subject line of your message blank.

To retrieve the archives, send the following message

get OCNET-L log "year/month"

  where "year/month" are the last two digits of the year requested followed by the number of the month (send without the quotes).

Example messages:

  get OCNET-L log 9601

    retrieves archives for January 1996

  get OCNET-L log 9512

    retrieves archives for December 1995
